The PMA2133 is a portable brightness detector that complies with the CIE photopic spectral response. The spectral response of this detector is similar to the visual response of the human eye in the photopic region.
Instrument Introduction: PMA2133 is a portable Brightness detector The spectral response of this detector is similar to the visual response of the human eye in the photopic region. The peak of the photopic spectrum luminous efficiency curve is at 555nm and is normalized to 1 at this wavelength. Brightness is the luminous intensity per unit area in a specific irradiation direction. The standard unit of brightness is cd/m 2 (candela per square meter). Another commonly used unit of brightness is fL (foot-Lambert), 1 fL = 3.426 cd/m 2 .
The PMA2133 measures brightness based on the photopic light efficiency curve.
