Product Introduction:

The PMA2100 is a scientific-grade data-logging radiometer that can measure UVA, UVB, UVC, Visible, and IR light using over 35 different detector combinations. PMA2100 uses intelligent sensors for detection and data processing, and allows users to quickly add new sensors to measure different types of light without changing the meter. PMA2100 has graphic display, data recording, comprehensive processing operations, unit selection measurement, averaging, minimum and maximum tracking, dose integration, and threshold alarm setting functions. All of these functions are integrated into this handheld device.

Users can choose from a variety of bandwidth sensors, from UV to mid-IR, as well as humidity and temperature sensors. The PMA2100 is designed using the latest sensor technology and a target-oriented approach to support a wide range of sensors (generating up to 4 analog signals) , Detector settings and algorithm integration into the detector .

Users can add the required sensors. If there are special functional requirements for PMA2100, users can upgrade it by downloading new software through PC.

Protect data. The PMA2100 stores data in a non-volatile memory, allowing the data to be stored for several years without being lost.

The PMA2100 not only records the measurement structure, it also automatically stores or prints other important data, including: sensor serial number, and calibration due date. This is more practical than just recording the results of so-called accurate measurements.

No need to change your usage habits. The intelligent memory function of the PMA2100 sensor enables it to save the most recently set parameters, including units and alarm thresholds, to avoid users having to repeat settings.

Key Features:

  1. Compatible with many detector models. Many standard detectors are available from stock. Due to the excellent performance of the PMA2100, custom detector connections can be quickly made at a low cost.
  2. Easy to use. Once connected to the detector, the PMA2100 automatically sets parameters to suit the new sensor. No more entering programs and calibration factors. All information about the detector is compressed and stored on its chip.
  3. Portability. PMA2100 has powerful performance in a palm-sized size. Up to 2 detectors can be connected at the same time. Rechargeable battery can work continuously for 30 hours.
  4. Data Storage. Up to 1024 data records can be stored in the internal memory. Storage can be triggered manually or automatically at user-set intervals (1 minute to 2 hours). A unified recording structure for all detectors simplifies data management.
  5. Traceability. Each data sample is accompanied by a set of related auxiliary information, such as: date, time, detector type and serial number, current unit, user-set scale factor, detector calibration validity date, and instrument status information. This provides convenience for GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
  6. Interference immunity. Signal amplification is done inside a metal box inside the detector. The signal is connected to the PMA2100 via an EMI and ESD-proof cable.
  7. Automatic Unit Conversion. Measurements can be displayed in a variety of units, with the unit selected at the touch of a button. Custom units and conversion algorithms can be programmed into the detector if desired.
  8. Computer Interface. Connect to a PC via RS232 serial port to facilitate transfer of stored data. Windows-based software PMA Organizer makes data retrieval, archiving, and reading easier.
  9. User settable alarms. Each detector can be set with individual alarm instantaneous values or dose control values. Alarm settings can be stored in the detector and activated when the detector is used.
  10. Independent Digital Inputs/Outputs The PMA2100 can control the process with visually independent digital I/O. Outputs can start or stop dose acquisition, and outputs can be triggered by dose and numerical alarms. For some projects radiation dose control may be required. Power relays are available as an optional accessory.
