Solar cell contacting unit

This general purpose chuck is intended to be used
in self-made measurement setups.

Features:

  • vacuum fixing of solar cells from 2 x 2 cm² to 21 x 21 cm²
  • four-point contact setting with 4 mm plugs
  • Pt-sensor for temperature measurement in direct contact to the back of the solar cell
  • temperature control of brass chuck with cooling thermostat
  • fast exchange of brass chuck for different solar cell types
  • three contact-needle bars to provide uniform potential along the busbars
  • flat contact-needle assembly for 3 busbars to be used with low currents
  • parallel lifting mechanism to avoid lateral forces when positioning the needles
