The MP-170 is a cost-effective, compact, portable instrument that includes a solar radiance detector, two temperature sensors, and fault diagnosis capabilities. The detection unit is equipped with a silicon detector pyranometer and comes with a calibration certificate. Solar irradiance and temperature can be measured remotely. With its ability to display IV derivative and magnification, the MP-170 is very effective for failure diagnosis of solar cell arrays. With built-in keyboard and LCD display, and self-diagnostic function, the MP-170 can be operated stand-alone without relying on a PC. IV curves and other data such as Voc, Isc, Pm, STC conversion, data failure analysis, etc., can be displayed on the built-in LCD, making the MP-170 very convenient for online performance measurement. The MP-170 can store up to 300 IV curve data, including the corresponding solar luminescence and temperature data. MP-170 can be operated via PC.
