JIS C 8912:1998 Classification of solar simulators for crystalline silicon solar cells, based on IEC 60904-9 solar simulator performance requirements.
Standard Test Condition(STC) (JIS C8912, ASTM E892, IEC 904) (1) Light intensity 1000 W/m2 (2) AM1.5 sunlight reference spectrum - Spectral distribution of incident solar luminescence at zero altitude and a sun altitude of 37°. - Atmospheric conditions: water vapor 14.2 mm, total ozone 3.4 mm, turbidity (base e, l=0.5mm) 0.27. (3) The temperature of the solar cell/module is 25 ± 2 degrees C ◎ The reference spectrum of sunlight is measured by a pyranometer or a reference cell. ◎ Spectral characteristics need to be considered.
