SAT infrared thermal imagers have ultra-high thermal sensitivity (NETD), which can sensitively and accurately sense tiny temperature changes on the surface of the object being tested, and detect defects in solar cells or components through non-contact detection. The defect location of the product is intuitively and accurately displayed in the infrared thermal image, providing users with a convenient and fast detection solution, which also makes infrared thermal imagers widely used in the photovoltaic field.
The solar cell production process is shown in the figure below. In the assembly stage, we use PV cells to weld and laminate them into modules.
Battery component defects need to be tested before leaving the factory. The main methods currently used are: 1 , battery panel electrical performance test; 2 , EL Visual detection of hidden cracks; 3 , infrared inspection after lamination. We mainly introduce infrared inspection of comprehensive defects of solar panels. When the solar panel passes reverse current, the panel will heat up. The impedance of the defective part of the panel is relatively large, so the heat generated is also large. We use infrared thermal imagers to observe the hot and cold areas of the panel. Normal situation The normal area is larger, the overheating area is the defect of the solar panel, and the overcooling area is the short circuit area of the solar panel. Therefore, both overheating and overcooling are problematic.
For the testing of solar cells and modules, we recommend the use of HY-G90, HY-6800 and other models.
